SHA recognizes National Day for Truth and Reconciliation
The National Day of Truth and Reconciliation on September 30, also known as Orange Shirt Day, honours residential school survivors, the children who never returned home, their families and communities. This movement extends to every child of all races, beliefs, identity and gender.
As part of the Saskatchewan Health Authority’s (SHA's) commitment to Truth and Reconciliation and CARES values, it is our responsibility to provide compassionate, accountable, respectful, equitable, and safe services and care for all people in this province, every day of the year.
If you would like to share how your team or facility is walking the path of truth and reconciliation, send your story and images by submitting to SHA Rounds.
Thank you for your support in fostering culturally safe and responsive environments, in support of Truth and Reconciliation.
