Role overview
We are looking for a patient partner who has undergone a stem cell transplant, or cares for a patient who has received a stem cell transplant for the treatment of a disease. The role of the patient partner could include: 1) helping the research team come up with interview questions to better understand the patient perspective when receiving stem cell transplants, 2) helping the research team come up with research ideas that could improve patient experience, or 3) comment on the feasibility of patients using our new stem cell transplant interventions.
Required knowledge, experience, skills
We are looking for a patient partner who has either received a stem cell transplant themselves, or cares for a patient who has received a stem cell transplant, for the treatment of a disease. Patient partners will receive training from the Saskatchewan Centre for Patient-Oriented Research to help patients get acquainted with research and help guide our research team. No specific knowledge or skills are needed.Time commitment
Currently, we expect the time commitment to be up to 1-2 hours every two to three months.
