AIMS: What are internally orderable items?
The AIMS system makes it easy to identify what items are stocked within each facility’s assigned inventory. These items are marked with an ‘I’ icon, which means the item is internally orderable.
Items without this icon will be processed by the Contracting, Procurement and Supply Management (CPSM) Team and ordered directly from the supplier. Requesters can order both item types in a single requisition, as the system will automatically sort each item and determine where to direct the request.
Please note that not all staff will have access to the Procurement dashboard. Only those who are authorized to create purchase requisitions will be able to access it.
