- Avoid mineral supplements for 5 days prior to collection

- Preferred collection container: Metal-free 24 hour collection container
- Alternative collection container: Sterile Wide Mouth Screw Cap Container (orange)
Collection procedure
- Refer to 24 hour urine collection procedure
- Keep specimen cool during collection and after aliquotting
- If submitting aliquot of 24 hour urine, provide volume and dates and times of collection

- Optimal volume: 15 mL
